What are Cookies and Pixels?

Cookies and pixels are used by many websites to help track visitors and tailor their marketing thereby improving your visitor experience. They do not enable websites to capture any personally identifiable information. Cookies and pixels both work in the background and you never see them.

cookie is a small text file that is stored in a specifically designated cookie folder on your browser when you visit our website. In order to protect your privacy, your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other websites.

When you revisit a site, the cookie remembers that you have visited before. This enables the web page to customise its content differently, based on your previous visitor behaviour. For example, when you revisit a shopping site, cookies (that were set on your first visit) enable the site to show the products you browsed, placed in the cart or purchased.

pixel is a small, invisible graphic that is triggered when you visit one of our web pages or one of our Facebook posts. A pixel sets a cookie in your browser.

Cookie & pixel use for retargeting (a.k.a. remarketing)

Cookies are used by many websites to help track visitors and improve your visitor experience.

Cookies do not enable websites to capture or access any personal information.

A cookie is a very small text document, stored on your computer, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier.

A cookie simply says: “You visited this page, so I might show you a relevant ad that is related to the page you visited.”

When you visit a website a small file is stored in a specifically designated cookie folder on your computer's hard drive (if your browser's preferences allow it).

In order to protect your privacy your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other websites.

We use cookies and pixels throughout our site together with remarketing on third party sites like Google and Facebook to display relevant ads to you based on the websites you have viewed.

Google advertising cookies

Google uses cookies to help serve the ads that it displays on the websites of its partners, such as websites displaying Google ads or participating in Google certified ad networks. When you visit a Google partner's website, a cookie may be dropped on your browser.

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of Google's use of cookies for personalised advertising here: https://www.google.com/settings/ads
